Taylor Jo Lane's cow for the 2025 Cow Parade San Antonio for the Christus Children's Foundation.
La Disco Vaquera is a celebration of San Antonio’s Vaquero culture. This cow depicts South Texas landscapes with sprouting Sotol plants, lit by a beautiful Texas sunset. Bright yellow and orange Prickly Pear cacti are in bloom along the rear of the cow. The cow’s head and neck are laced with traditional vaquero boot stitching. The saddle and horns are adorned with shining mirror tiles as a nod to San Antonio’s annual party, Fiesta.
La Disco Vaquera was displayed throughout San Antonio in the summer of 2025 including at Taylor's debut solo art exhibition, Redemption, in the Lincoln Heights shopping center, and in front of Broadway Bank's Broadway location.

La Disco Vaquera was featured on the cover of 78209 Magazine, and as part of the "Women of the Cow Parade" feature in San Antonio Woman.

La Disco Vaquera was one of ten cows (out of 75 cows in the herd) included at the Live Auction event held at the Red Berry Estate.
